How to use your Tele sales Team for Maximum Leads

If you are frustrated and much tensed about your business you have not getting enough sales lead and you have not a good sales Chain. Then try to telemarketing services this is very power full way to sales lead generation and create some very good sales Lead Many telemarketers experience frustration at their failure to successfully recruit prospects and customers in their marketing efforts. This is because of their failure to use an approach which includes attraction marketing principles. If you are one such telemarketer or if you have intentions of using the telephone to communicate with your clients, would you like to be able to do this more effectively, to generate sales and recruits with greater ease? If so then read on.

The failure and frustration experienced by many telemarketers in their efforts are due principally to their not using the telephone as part of a larger attraction marketing strategy of establishing trust with prospects. This trust is established by first giving prospects what they want in the form of value. We must first provide valuable content to our target market so that prospects come to us first and initiate the business relationship. This is the first step. An example of this would be when a sales consultant holds a free or low cost seminar with tips about "how to optimize the sales of your product in a recession", he would use advertising of this seminar through regular methods - newspaper, mailers, television, etc., and get a response from persons interested in sales who he can then provide these valuable tips to.

The same sales consultant can with the use of the internet offer a series of video tutorials or emails on the same topic and can create a lead capture page that takes his prospects to these tutorials while at the same time building an email and/or telephone list. He can then call or even have them call him for further consultations. The point is he can now establish a business relationship after providing value where he can offer his consultancy services. Another example offline is when an affiliate marketer is seeking business partners to build his organization. He can offer an offline workshop entitled "How to Generate a New Revenue Stream to Cushion this Tough Economy". He can use this approach rather than promote his offering upfront by building a relationship based on his knowledge of successful affiliate marketing. At the seminar he can offer free consultations to prospective affiliate marketers and at the same time gathering valuable lead information.

Some effective Telesales Tips

A lot of view and idea has been written on the subject of telesales, cold calling and telemarketing techniques and tips. In fact, the wheel itself is just perfect the way it is. We Were always taught that if something isn't broken you shouldn't try and fix it. So - let's leave it that way it is, shall we!? The fact of the matter is that to achieve cold calling success, a good telesales professional simply needs to know the right way to do things.

So, Hera is the some latest and very effective Telesales Magic, we will break that process down, bit by bit, and incorporate it into what I like to call the Ultimate Top Ten Telesales Tips. I'll warn you in advance; this is a pretty long, in-depth post. I don't expect every post to be this long, but I thought it would be the nice way to kick things off, and give people a nice run-down to get going! Let's get started.

Not preparing for your calls is like a high-scoring basketball player not practicing his free-throws when he knows for a FACT that he will be at the foul line on-and-off all night long. Think about it. Preparation covers many different aspects in telesales - we'll look into these in future posts here, but they basically breakdown to getting your hands on a good, strong calling list, having the correct equipment to make your calls, a professional uncomplicated working environment, writing a compelling script and having all the rebuttals you believe you will need, based on the objections you know you will hear on your calls, a good 'notes' system, or CRM in place, and then the ability to follow through with any promises you make your prospects, such as info to email or send out, etc, etc. at the end of the day, the more prepared for your calls you are the more successful you are going to be.

This, for me, is the single most important part of any telesales professional's working day. Think about it logically. The moment you stop prospecting, (in other words simply going through your lists and lead sources, dialing the phone and getting 'moving' every day), is the moment your sales pipeline will dry up - like the Sahara desert! You should be looking to do at least 2 hours of true cold call prospecting every day.

Once you've got through to a human being, its time to qualify. A lot of new telesales people tend to pitch the first person they get on the phone to. This is obviously a) a waste of time, because the chances are that the person who picks up the phone (99%) of the time is not the decision maker, and b) because you haven't found out anything about them yet. Making sure that you have the right person on the phone is absolutely paramount in making the sale. Use some probing questions such as "Mr. Big is the person I should be speaking to in relation to your restroom supplies, am I right?", and "Is there anyone else involved in the decision making process in regards to your restroom supplies?". By being polite and friendly, qualifying your prospect with the gatekeeper, for example, will almost always confirm the info you have is correct, and that Mr. Big is indeed the right guy, or you'll get given the name of the real decision maker.

Some useful Telesales Secrets: Voice Speed

Selling over the telephone is Depend upon your voice and how you talk. One of the biggest mistakes that sales people make when speaking to clients is talking too fast. We all speak faster when we are under pressure, and there is normally an element of pressure on sales people when they are talking to clients. So it just makes sense that as a professional sales person, you would want to be perpetually aware of the speed that you are speaking at.
However, I very rarely meet a salesperson that is aware of their own W.P.M. (words per minute) rate. I have found that the most exceptional speech rate needs to be around 180 W.P.M. and this is really a very comfortable rate of speech to listen to and to also talk at. I find that most people selling on the telephone utilize a rate of about 220 to 250 W.P.M. This is too fast for you prospect to comfortably process everything that you are saying. Also, when you are talking quite fast you have a tendency not to listen too well to what your prospect is saying.
In order to ascertain what your W.P.M. rate is you will need to time yourself reading. If you have your regular telephone sales pitch to hand that would be ideal, but you can just use a book or a newspaper article. All you need to do is time yourself reading aloud. It really is essential that you do this in the same style and speed that you would use when selling to a client over the phone.

Read aloud and time yourself for just 60 seconds. Once you have read for 1 minute stop and count how many words you read aloud at that will give you your W.P.M. rate. So for example, if you read 218 words in 60 seconds, your W.P.M. rate will be 218 W.P.M.

How Important the Telephone Skill for Salesperson?

Making a sales presentation is most important part of Telemarketing. But how do you "appear" when you are using the phone? Clients or potential clients may call you or you may call them to obtain an appointment, discuss your solution, or even embark upon a full-scale sales presentation. With this perspective on the use of the phone, this is most important to come across as professional, enthusiastic, and persuasive. Let's discuss some tips for your phone presence.

First, take a breath before picking up a call or making one. When we're working, we tend to take shorter, shallower breaths, especially if the day has been stressful. And a person on the other end of the line is likely to hear this in our voice and our breathing patterns. If you take a deep breath before speaking over the phone, you can speak while you exhale. Speaking upon an exhale tends to carry more energy and less "deflation" in the voice. Your client will pick up on this. Remember that the first 30 seconds of a phone call are probably the most important, so a "deflated" voice will not be very enthusiastic or persuasive.

Next, keep a smile on your face. This may sound "hokey", but it is a tried and true method of using the phone. If you're not happy about the call, this will come across in your voice. Try recording your voice on an MP3, tape recorder, or cell phone. First, try saying something about your product without smiling. Then try the same words or phrases with a smile. You can tell the difference and so can your clients. Of course, if you have to muster all of your energy to get a smile, you may need to consider how happy you are with your work and your environment.

The third area of selling over the phone is the self-identification. Whether you are taking inbound sales calls or reaching out to clients or prospects, your greeting is vitally important. In many cases, your self-introduction may be scripted. If that is the case, try not to make it sound "canned". Remind yourself that each call is different, although you may have said the same words repeatedly during the day. If you sound sick of saying it, your client or prospect will be able to tell. Keep the smile on your face and the inflection in your voice. Another good way to keep a greeting from sounding canned is to keep it slow. We have the tendency to speed up our speech when we're nervous or when we're saying something we've said before. Take it slow - it may even sound too slow at first, but remember that your prospect or client may be hearing it for the first time. When you record your voice, as we discussed earlier, try recording your scripted greeting or introduction. Make changes based on what you hear.

Next, remember to use sincerity and empathy at all times. Have you ever called someone for help and could not tell if you were still talking to the computer? Your voice over the phone should never give the prospect or client this feeling. The person should know that they have reached a live person. Try not to be "fake" and then position yourself as an empathetic problem solver. When you're making an in-person presentation, think about how the inflections of your voice go along with your body language. If you're using a headphone or earpiece to make phone calls, use the same body language. You'll find that the emotions in your voice, like empathy and sincerity, will come out even though you don't have an audience directly in front of you.

Some Difference between B2B Environment and Telemarketing

There is much confusion in the minds of many B2B organizations - particularly SMEs - about the distinction between lead generation and telemarketing. Many even quite senior business professionals do not understand the distinction and see the two as interchangeable terms.

Lead generation campaigns consist exclusively of business-to-business outbound calling conducted by sales professionals with finely honed presentation and qualification skills and who are highly trained on the products and services they represent. Products and services are generally complex and high-value and they are marketed to high-level decision makers.

In a B2B environment, Telemarketing campaigns are generally not used to gather information, qualify prospects or generate interest, but rather to sell such things as publication subscriptions, advertising space or exhibition space. Telemarketers most frequently represent easy-to-understand products and services and often do not receive extensive sales training. Presentations are frequently robotic and result in many ineffective calls. Volume not targeting is frequently the key to success.
